Hi friend, I’m Erika .

Driven by nostalgia, emotion and a deep love for storytelling. My journey started with disposable film cameras and a grandmother who saw beauty in everything. She captured life’s big moments and the quiet in-betweens, inspiring me to do the same. Her photos now live in a shoebox on my shelf — my most treasured possession — and a reminder of why I do what I do.

Photography, for me, is about freezing time. It’s about finding magic in the mess and the emotion in the everyday. I’m not here to pose you perfectly — I’m here to help you remember how it felt.

A LoveLetter from a Previously Captured Love Story

“I knew long before I ever got engaged that I was not settling for anyone other than Erika to capture my wedding day, I was a long time admirer and social media creeper of hers and she was the first vendor I contacted after getting engaged. I picked my wedding date around her availability because she was the most important element of my day, after meeting her in person I knew my faith was well placed. Erika braved the -35°C for my wedding day and was nothing but a good time, she kept us laughing all day despite freezing her ass off, was up for absolutely anything and was so much fun, it was an absolute joy to have her a part of our special day. She captured the most beautiful photos of us and our loved ones at our tiny intimate gathering. I look back at them often and feel just as much excitement as the day she delivered them. Her talent behind the camera is second to none, but more importantly she feels like sunshine and you can’t help but smile and feel amazing around her.
